Welcome to the International Model Railway Exhibition Cologne from 18. - 21.11.2010 Print E-mail

Every two years the international “who’s who” of model railway engineering meets at MODELLBAHN, the International Model Railway Exhibition in Cologne. Almost 200 model railway companies from Germany and abroad presented their products at MODELLBAHN 2008, captivating the audience of over 70,000 visitors with a extensive range of interesting exhibits.

As of 2010 the organization of MODELLBAHN at the Cologne Exhibition Centre is in the hands of Messe Sinsheim GmbH, renowned as the organiser of “Faszination Modellbau” and the “Indoor Steam Engine Meeting”. New accents and additional show areas such as the “Rail to Road” presentation with exciting truck demonstrations give the MODELLBAHN new impulses und attract new visitor target groups.
For the first time at MODELLBAHN, selected specialist dealers will offer the entire assortment of model railway products for sale at their booths. So for the first time visitors will also be able to shop for their hobby at the "International". In addition, the significance of this traditional exhibition as the international meeting point of model rail engineering will be strengthened. Special features for young modellers stress the character of MODELLBAHN as an activity event for the whole family. .

The "International Model Railway Exhibition Cologne" (Hall 4.1) in combination with the "Cologne Indoor Steam Engine Meeting" (Hall 4.2), "LEGO Fan World Germany" (Hall 5.1) and the creative fair ”My Hobbyhorse“ (Hall 5.2) form a colourful quartet of attractive events that will provide best entertainment for visitors of all ages under the slogan "Fourfold fun for all the family".
